ABOUT THE ARTIST

Artist and Illustrator, Hope Kelley, (ECBY is an acronym for her birthname, Esperanza Catalina Bella Ybanez), enjoys illustrating and painting more than any of her other interests and talents. She illustrated and painted her children's books, and the covers for all of her books. Her extensive graphic artwork has been in dozens of advertising campaigns. Although Hope has always dabbled in art, she found her way into the artist's world later in life, as she has been busy with family life and career. Her beautiful and unique art can be found in homes and businesses worldwide, and at art auctions in Los Angeles to raise money for over 200 charities. What makes Hope feel the most rewarded in her career is work of a philanthropic nature. Hope Kelley is Producer, Director, and Writer for Hope Kelley Productions & South 16 Films. Ms. Kelley is also a talented journalist, anchor, actor, and spokeswoman who has appeared in films, tv programs, and commercials. Ms. Kelley hosted and directed the tv program, SA Style in San Antonio, Texas. Hope Kelley Productions was awarded the honor of directing and producing a documentary, Project Hope, in Washington, D.C.  Her production company has created and donated videos to St. Jude's Ranch for Children to assist their goals in fundraising.Hope Kelley is Owner of ECBYbooks, a fully integrated online bookshop which has helped raise more than $36M for brick and mortar bookstores around the country so they won't disappear forever. Ms. Kelley was awarded the UIL Scholarship in Music to the University of Texas at Austin. As a classical clarinetist, she has performed in symphony orchestras. Ms. Kelley graduated from the University of Texas at Austin earning a Degree in Broadcast Journalism. She began her broadcasting career as an Intern and Journalist for ABC Austin, and at the Dallas ABC News Bureau at the Capitol of Texas. As a published Author and Illustrator, her books, The Adventures of Troy A New Home, The Adventures of Troy Rescuing Lily the Lamb, The Adventures of Troy the Bald Eagle, The G Sin, and her latest novel, winner of the International Impact Book Award in Historical Fiction, Fire in Forgotten, are available in all bookstores.  Through her publishing company, Ms. Kelley enjoys helping other writers achieve their goals as published authors.
